How To Make Soup Russian Borscht :

2 tablespoons canola oil
1 pound lamb stew meat, cut into
1/2-in. cubes
one onion, peeled and finely chopped
three 1/two quarts beef broth
one/four cup red wine vinegar
a pair of tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/4 pounds cabbage, cored and shredded
one one/two pounds ripe tomatoes, diced
a pair of pounds beets, peeled and diced (tops reserved)
2 bay leaves
one teaspoon salt
1/two teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 pint bitter cream
one/4 cup chopped dill

Heat canola oil over medium-high heat in an exceedingly massive stockpot till terribly hot. Add the cubed lamb, and sear till well browned. Stir within the onion, and cook till tender and translucent, concerning a pair of minutes.
